When a shaped charge jet perforates the steel armour plate, the residual multiple-rings jet is accompanied by a much wider cloud of behind armour debris (BAD) generated by stress wave interactions.BAD plays an important role in the evaluation of survivability of vehicle crew and components in a vehicle.The Behind ECHINAFOCE FORTE Armor Debris (BAD) cloud caused by shaped charge jet impact was investigated.In order to simulate different configuration of material to mitigation of debris cloud the thickness of ceramics target tiles, glass and aramid laminate liners in contact with the armour plates was varied.
